The say opposites attract, and that’s exactly the case when it comes to Mariah and Sheia. Like salt and pepper, they are so different yet have so much of an effect on the other. Mariah’s craziness and edge give Sheia just the right amount of drama she lacks in life, while Sheia provides the sense of calmness and relaxed tone that Mariah needs. Best friends, dating best friends can be a good or bad thing all depending on the couples.
When falling in love with friends, I’m sure neither Mariah nor Sheia expected things to turn out the way they did. What started off as a friendly conversation turned into the love of their lives. Born and raised in a world with so much hate and envy, how can you not love someone who you feel was created for you?
The love you have when you feel like there’s no you without the other and vice versa… yeah, that’s the type of love Sheia has for her longtime boyfriend, Kell. A love like no other and a love that could definitely not be replaced. Kell and Sheia have the perfect relationship when it comes to what many would see as “relationship goals”. That’s if you’re on the outside looking in. No one ever sees the headaches, late nights, and problems that occur behind closed doors until someone gets exposed. Let’s just hope that, along this journey with Sheia and Kell, that’s not the case.
Then, there’s that love where you just can’t let go no matter how hard you try or what the other person does. One of those relationships where you spend the whole relationship trying to get back to the point you started at, but instead you just keep going in a big circle. Mariah and Q have been together just as long as Sheia and Kell, but have the complete opposite relationship. The opposites in their relationship are what makes their relationship so much stronger than the others.
Nobody is perfect but when you find that person that’s perfect for you, you have to decide if love or lust is what you want. Sometimes society and being young can sidetrack us by blinding you of what it is that you deserve or need, making you settle for what you want instead. You have to question yourself on whether you love them enough to spend the rest of your life living every day like today. If you can honestly answer yes to that question, then you know that’s where you need to be. If not, it’s time to pack your bag and move on. Right? Well, only time will tell catch up with Sheia, Mariah, Kell, and Q to see what type of love is shared, and if it is that same type you’ve always dreamed about.
